For this role, your base will be at the RLG office in Turin , supporting and coordinating all operational and supply chain activities related to our Italian market. Expect some travel to customers, producers, and logistic partners across Italy and Europe.

Be the operational heartbeat of Italy

As Supply Chain Manager, Italy , you will support and manage all logistics and operational activities for existing and new Italian customers. You will play a central role in ensuring smooth material flows, excellent customer service, and profitable operations.

More specifically, you can look forward to:


Managing relationships with Italian producers and material suppliers

  • Acting as the primary customer service contact for operational issues
  • Leading weekly/monthly customer meetings and writing minutes
  • Driving weekly load increases and volume growth
  • Gathering customer forecasts and incorporating them into planning
  • Ensuring accurate documentation for invoicing and handling ad hoc changes
  • Resolving invoice and payment issues
  • Settling outstanding claims and preparing settlement proposals
  • Ensuring clear understanding of operational terms and identifying non-conform situations
  • Coordinating issue resolution with the Danish Operations team
  • Supporting claim management with the Danish claim manager
  • Participating in the planning and startup of new solutions


Managing relationships with Italian logistics providers

  • Maintaining and growing strong partnerships with logistic providers
  • Supporting local providers in joining tender processes
  • Filing agreements and price lists correctly
  • Scouting and evaluating new logistical solutions and market insights
  • Requesting quotations via the Operational Solutions concept
  • Ensuring alignment with Danish operations and procedures


Back-office activities

  • Supporting selected areas of the Danish Operational Department
  • Handling payments and bookkeeping for the Italian Combineering office
  • Validating payment documentation and preparing reports
  • Participating in customer and supplier SOP/kick-off meetings
  • Supporting the Italian RE NETI waste registration system
  • Consulting with ADR experts when needed
  • Supporting company exhibitions such as Ecomondo

Experience

  • Customer service or key account management
  • Freight forwarding / logistics / transport experience
  • Waste industry or waste operations experience


Education

  • Degree in Business or
  • Technical waste education or
  • Freight forwarder education


Skills

  • Italian – spoken and written
  • English – spoken and written
  • Customer-service mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Structured, present, and ready to take responsibility
  • Negotiation experience
