Job Description
Wood is recruiting for a Supply Chain Lead / Procurement Coordinator to join its Projects – Process and Chemical team for execution on supply chain activities of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

You will assist the Project Supply Chain Manager in all aspect of the purchasing cycle of our projects.

The key objectives for this role are:
- Definition of Project Procurement Plan and Procedures
- Responsible for the execution of all aspects of supply chain activities including expediting, procurement and negotiation
- Familiar with market scouting and supplier onboarding processes
- Definition of the bidder list for each inquiry
- Preparation of tender documentation as well as definition of pricing summary tailored to the scope of work
- Lead technical & commercial clarification meetings with bidders
- Examine, review and negotiate T&C’s
- Prepare and finalize commercial Bid Tabulations and Purchase Orders for all items to be purchased
- Collaborate with Key persons to ensure that company and client expectations are met
- Ensures all supply chain activities are carried out in accordance with the project execution plan/schedule and in line with project processes and procedures
- Track and report KPI to measure cost reduction and improve efficiency
- Prepare and tailor project procurement reports in line with project / client requirements
- Comply with code of business conduct and ethics, corporate policies, procedures and work practices

Expected
- 10 / 15 years experience
- MSc / BSc Degree in Engineering or Economics
- Fluent in English and in Italian
- Good communication, planning and organizational skills
- Pro-active approach in resolving issues
- Familiar with Office tool
- Availability for business trips and relocation abroad for project purpose
- Good knowledge of French is a plus
