Supply Chain Internship

Tasks:

• Manage customers orders entry to support suppliers’ planning and inventory control activities;
• Work closely with the purchasing department to support on purchase requests and purchase orders release and monitoring;
• Report and track KPIs to monitor suppliers’ performances and highlight deviations to the management;
• Work on automating repetitive tasks through macros, queries and supporting the implementation of new tools;
• Check all needed transactions in SAP have been performed: Purchase Order creation vs supplier, production orders, good receipts, inventory transfer, Sales Order creation, Document Delivery Creation, Returns
• Propose and implement forecasting and supply planning process improvements;
• Interact with suppliers to ensure that raw materials, sub-components and finished products are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with forecasts and agreements;
• Interact with Carriers to ensure reconciliation between received invoices and actual costs incurred for warehousing and transport activities;
• Support other departments with needed analysis and data

Background :

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Economy o Math.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (macro included) and MS PowerPoint;
• Keen to use Business Intelligence tools;
• Knowledge in SAP preferable;
• Excellence in written and spoken English;
• Problem solver: you effectively synthesize information and resolve issues by using logic and common sense;
