We are looking for a Supply Chain Director to manage the end-to-end process of our Villafontana logistics hub and the national distribution network, ensuring service levels, operational efficiency, compliance, and cost control.


Role purpose:

Reporting to the CFO, this role ensures continuity and quality of logistics service by optimizing processes, resources, and suppliers, and support the CFO on supply-chain financial governance (budget, forecast, and investments).

  • Manage warehouse operations and inbound/outbound flows to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Lead national transport and distribution strategy, optimize routes and service levels.
  • Plan replenishment and inventory policies (forecasting, stock targets) with Sales/Production;
    contribute to S&OP.
  • Oversee Customer Service (order management, logistics claims/issues) to deliver strong customer experience.
  • Own logistics budget and cost control (OPEX/CAPEX): set budget/forecast, track variances, drive corrective actions.
  • Define and report key KPIs (e.G., OTIF, fill rate, lead time, productivity, inventory accuracy, cost-to-serve) and lead continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen).
  • Ensure regulatory and quality compliance (traceability, audits, procedures) and Health & Safety in logistics operations.
  • Own logistics systems and projects coordinating internal/external stakeholders.


Requirements

  • Proven experience (ideally 8–12+ years ) in senior supply chain/logistics roles, managing large, high-volume warehouses.
  • Strong background in national transport and distribution;
    solid supplier management.
  • Preferred experience in regulated, high-complexity environments (e.G., pharma, food, FMCG).
  • Inventory/replenishment planning skills and KPI-driven performance improvement mindset.
  • Strong leadership/people management, negotiation, and change- management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP and logistics solutions (WMS/TMS);
    strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
