Supply Chain Associate

Job Overview

Qualcomm Europe, Inc. Italy Branch Office is recruiting a Supply Chain Associate for a 6‑month full‑time contract. The role will support inventory management, logistics coordination, and production scheduling to ensure an efficient flow of products while maintaining high quality and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing, inventory management, and logistics to maintain material availability and optimal product flow.
• Track and manage purchase orders ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure punctual deliveries and quality of raw materials.
• Plan and coordinate production with EMS based on production schedules, material availability, and finished‑goods demand.
• Maintain production and inventory data in the management system.
• Facilitate clear communication of information between departments such as production, logistics, and sales.
• Analyze supply‑chain data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and planning orders to avoid excesses or shortages.
• Engage in demand forecasting and production planning, responding appropriately to variations.
• Troubleshoot unforeseen operational problems in coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain management processes and optimization.
• Proficiency with supply‑chain software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving ability and competence under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience requirements are indicative; equivalent experience and the ability to perform the tasks will be considered.
