Your opportunity

Reporting to the VP Business Control Supply Chain and Equipment Portfolio & Innovation (EPI), you will act as Finance Business Partner to the EVP Supply Chain and EPI, providing the right financial insights by challenging and building within cross functional teams the relevant action plans to increase Sidel performance understanding and profitability. The Central costs and processes team is covering all transversal processes of the Supply chain and EPI finance team. This includes non-limiting activities on Sourcing, Product controlling, consolidation of the performance, Costing OPEX and all transformation projects.

Your Mission

Business Partnership:

• Copilot with EVP SC and EVP EPI to drive performant Supply chain and EPI organisations.
• Consolidate financial performance and establish the guidelines for standard practices in Supply chain and EPI organisation.
• Key partnership with Operational Excellence and SC transformation, Sourcing, S&OP, Innovation, Equipment, organizations to define and implement strategic project in close collaboration with the Manufacturing Director.
• Resource utilization (labor, manufacturing plant, make or buy, OPEX).
• Sourcing performance in cooperation with All Sidel organisation.
• Consolidation the translation of Sustainable Excellence Projects: S&OP, SOM, Product Cost, and all other transformation programs to financial impact.

Cost Control- Drive Cost Competitiveness by product line (actual and forecast):

• Product cost target (defined with Supply chain and EP&I).
• Strong link with the different finance team (Manufacturing, R&D, Equipment, FP&A, Regions, …) to implement and feedback tools and processes, margin analysis and forecast.
• Drive Consolidation of the supply chain contribution and financial performance and ensure realization of targets.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate on yearly budgets and quarterly / monthly forecasts and outlooks in collaboration with department heads and managers.
• Monitor and drive budget adherence and insight, comments, and action plans in front of budget deviations.
• Collaborate with different functions and present an action plan to maximize deliverables and profitability.
• Propose adjustments to forecasts based on changing market conditions and business needs and deliver action plan to optimize on deliverable and profitability.
• Active participation to the 3 years Business Plan, annual Budget, quarterly Outlook and quarterly closing.

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure a strict application of compliance in the SC&EPI organization with Sidel PPG’s.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
• Drive a permanent culture of continuous improvement in the team.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial procedures and systems for increased efficiency and accuracy. Share recommendations with the Central teams (Group Finance and Group Controlling).
• Propose and implement continuous improvements of existing analysis / tools / IS / methods through transversal and multi-sites projects, in cooperation with process team.
• Project cost and Product Cost analysis (RCA and action plan consolidation).
• Plan and challenge Factory utilization overview and actions.
• Follow up of all financial KPIs of Supply chain and EPI (sourcing, Inventories, productivity, OPEX, P&L, Non-quality costs -Scrapping, rework, diff. On materials... etc. -,…) measurement and actions.

Your Profile

• Master degree or equivalent in Finance.
• A Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Industrial Controlling, cost controlling, Finance consolidation, FP&A, Business controlling.
• Strong controlling technical skills, solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting principles.
• Advanced knowledge of controlling processes & business planning principles.
• Strong experience in SAP FI/CO (Finance / Controlling), MM, SD in an international and industrial group.
• Advance practice of IS Tools including any other digitalization tools (Qliksense, Power BI...).
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player.
• Ability to lead in a matrix organization.
• Result orientation.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
