Ali Professional, on behalf of a long-established client in the bicycle industry (a manufacturer of bicycles and technical components) is searching a candidate for the position of Supply Chain & Buyer.


Key Responsibilities

· Forecast demand and plan inventory levels using MRP to balance cost and service objectives.

· Oversee procurement and sourcing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

· Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.

· Manage product data in SAP

· Implement and maintain ERP or supply chain management systems.

· Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain plans with business goals.

· Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, lead time, and inventory turnover, production output


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or planning.

· Industry experience in cycling, automotive or other industrial buying/planning is a plus.

· Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). SAP B1 experience is a plus.

· Ability to implement and apply MRP parameters, safety stocks and supply chain methodologies

· Use and manage of SQL query and strong excel skills required.

· Ability to forecast and statistically process historical data.

· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

· Experience in import procedures is a plus.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills. Able to work cross-functionally, manage teams.

· In-depth understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and cost optimization.

· Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM is a plus.
