WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Supplier Warranty Recovery Specialist is a role working in Warranty department within Supplier Warranty Recovery (SWR) organization.

SWR team has main scopes to regulate warranty rules through Warranty Agreements and manage analysis for warranty charge back to suppliers.

The SWR Specialist will be the main SWR interface for the assigned list of Suppliers with the main goal to maximize the recovery.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The Supplier Warranty Recovery Specialist has the primary functions to:

• Analyze warranty data
• Interact with suppliers to finalize the warranty recovery and implement corrective action to avoid future issue
• Assess complex warranty dealer claims

Main activities are:

• SWR and Warranty Data analysis
• Technical Factor cluster definition
• Parts return list definition and update
• Coordination of Technical analysis on returned parts from field
• Liability definition following outcomes of test and laboratories analysis
• Interface and strong cooperation with supplier quality and Quality departments
• Interface with SWR Contract Managers for opportunity to improve warranty rules in place
• KPI/use cases definition and monitoring
• Level 3 - Escalated Claim by claim contract management
• Weekly/Monthly Best Estimation evaluation and monitoring
• Forecast and Budget support activities
• Invoicing issuance and monitoring
• Epidemics issue detection, negotiation and management
• Recall campaign negotiation
• Epidemics and Recall campaign claim data analysis and sharing with suppliers
• Feedback to internal competent stakeholder, within and outside Warranty team, on technical analysis outcomes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of the Commercial Vehicles products, from a technical point of view as much as from the utilization and mission point of view.
• Industrial production processes knowledge, focused on industrial application for the components of which in charge.
• Experience and knowledge of components applied to the Commercial vehicles
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred in Industrial fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic…);
  also accepted College Degree in Mechanic, Electric, Electronic if with long working experience in the industrial/Engineering environment.
• At least five years’ experience in following fields: Technical Support, Quality - Product Specialist, Supplier Quality, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Quality.
• General knowledge of key industrial manufacturing processes (machining, welding, screwing)
• English: good Speaking, good Writing (Mandatory)
• Italian: good Speaking, good Writing (Mandatory)
• Other languages will be considered a plus

ICT SKILLS:

• Knowledge of main Office ICT tool (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access,…)
• Knowledge of Outlook
• Knowledge of main Web basis conference calls (e.G. Teams)
• Knowledge of SAP
