Supplier’s Quality and Expediting Coordinator

We are looking for a Supplier Quality & Expediting Coordinator to join our Quality Department at Boldrocchi HQ in Biassono (MB).

In this role, you will ensure both the technical–quality compliance and the on-time delivery of purchased goods, through structured quality control activities at suppliers and continuous monitoring of production progress.

You will be responsible for securing the timely supply and compliance of materials and components for company projects by monitoring critical suppliers and subcontractors, coordinating inspections, and managing supplier nonconformities, while collaborating closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Qualification: Execution of entry audits and maintenance of the supplier base.
• Planning & Expediting: Monitoring of progress at suppliers and subcontractors (fabrication, separators, coolers, packagers, rotating equipment, generators, cooling systems), proactively addressing delays and issues.
• Intermediate Quality Control: Management of W/H points, inspections and testing at suppliers, certification reviews; support to Project Quality/Quality Department during final inspections.
• Documentation Management: Collection, verification, and filing of material certificates, ITP, Welding Book, Data Sheets, GA drawings, and other project documentation.
• Contract Review: Analysis and application of supply contractual specifications in collaboration with Procurement and Project Management.
• Non-Conformity Management: Issuance, analysis, and follow-up of supplier NCRs, coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
• Supplier Development: Definition and implementation of improvement plans for strategic/critical suppliers; supporting suppliers in implementing company and project standards.
• Vendor Performance Management: Updating and monitoring supplier KPIs and Vendor Ratings, providing periodic reporting.
• Operational Expediting: Use of the company ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365) for activity monitoring and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Supplier Quality, Expediting, or Project Supply Management roles within manufacturing or project-based industrial environments.
• Knowledge of supplier audit methodologies and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, APQP, PPAP).
• Familiarity with fabrication processes for structures, rotating equipment, and complex packages.
• Ability to read and interpret project technical documentation.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally (up to 70%).
