Supplier Operations Manager - 60% Travel

Your Role

• You will optimize and develop the supply base supporting three production sites.
• Assess supplier capacity and drive supply base consolidation and risk reduction.
• You will lead make-or-buy analyses and production relocation initiatives.
• Develop should-cost models and support procurement negotiations.
• You will coordinate supplier production planning and capacity balancing across sites.
• Ensure on-time deliveries through proactive expediting and risk management.
• You will work cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Logistics.

Your background

• Strong background in supply chain, procurement, and production planning.
• Experience in capacity analysis, cost engineering, and should-cost modeling.
• Solid project management skills in sourcing and relocation projects.
• Ability to read BOMs and understand manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in a multi-site, cross-functional environment.
