Supplier Operations Manager - 60% Travel

Your Role
- You will optimize and develop the supply base supporting three production sites.
- Assess supplier capacity and drive supply base consolidation and risk reduction.
- You will lead make-or-buy analyses and production relocation initiatives.
- Develop should-cost models and support procurement negotiations.
- You will coordinate supplier production planning and capacity balancing across sites.
- Ensure on-time deliveries through proactive expediting and risk management.
- You will work cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Logistics.
Your background
- Strong background in supply chain, procurement, and production planning.
- Experience in capacity analysis, cost engineering, and should-cost modeling.
- Solid project management skills in sourcing and relocation projects.
- Ability to read BOMs and understand manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in a multi-site, cross-functional environment.
