Job Overview
We urgently seek an experienced Delivery Assurance Field Representative for an on‑site supplier recovery assignment in Foligno, Italy. The role is full‑time for an initial 6‑week contract (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of €50 per hour.
The representative will work on location at the customer’s supplier facility, collaborating with supplier operations, supply chain, procurement, and quality teams to improve delivery visibility, support recovery actions, and restore on‑time delivery performance for OEM and aftermarket requirements.
Responsibilities
Act as the customer representative on‑site at the supplier facility.
Review supplier order books, customer demand, and production priorities.
Track work‑in‑progress, production orders, inventory coverage, bottlenecks, and shipment status.
Support supplier recovery plans and follow up on agreed actions.
Identify risks to delivery commitments and elevate issues when necessary.
Coordinate with supplier operations, supply chain, quality, and procurement teams.
Support visibility of material, component, and subcontracted operation requirements.
Assist with sub‑tier supplier risks that impact delivery performance.
Provide daily status updates on recovery progress, delivery outlook, and key risks.
Support weekly reporting and stakeholder reviews.
Qualifications
Fluent English required; Italian language capability mandatory; French an advantage.
Previous experience in supply chain, supplier performance, expediting, production control, manufacturing operations, or quality.
Experience in supplier recovery, delivery assurance, operational recovery, or industrial crisis management preferred.
Aerospace manufacturing or aerospace supply chain experience highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of WIP tracking, production status, capacity constraints, bottleneck management, and shipment follow‑up.
Ability to challenge supplier commitments, drive action closure, and raise risks in a high‑pressure environment.
Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; SAP or AirSupply experience an advantage.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across customer, supplier, and multi‑functional teams.
