Responsibilities
- Ensure that all necessary technical interfaces with other systems or activities belonging to the Project are always considered by the contractor.
- Ensure the overall performance, installability and operability of subsea systems.
- Assist the preparation of user manuals and installation procedures by the contractor and assist the installation campaign.
- Assure that the design meets project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices, developing the company's know-how in this area.
- Ensure consistency, quality and cost-effectiveness of project design of the subsea production system in compliance with all applicable codes, company standards and specifications, contract international standards and engineering best practices.
- Ensure delivery of the subsea components in line with project objectives, technical interfaces and requirements.
- Assist the SPS Lead / Package Manager in the following:
- Follow up the detail engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to Subsea production tree systems, subsea tie-ins, ROV tools and subsea structures.
- Review and comment technical documentation produced by the contractors (e.g., reports, specifications, procedures, drawings), ensuring the implementation of established procedures, applicable codes, company standards and specifications, contract international standards and engineering best practices.
- Resolve ongoing technical queries / issues concerning all aspects of the subsea equipment.
- Monitor and report technical progress to the SPS Lead / Package Manager.
- Witness SUI FAT, SIT, EFAT.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum seven (7) years of Engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Minimum five (5) years of subsea engineering experience.
- At least 2 similar activities (subsea EPC project follow up).
- Excellent spoken and written English, including proven ability to write specifications and reports.
