We are currently looking for a City Manager to run our popular Animal Health Program in Milan which provides shadowing opportunities for future veterinarians. As City Manager of the Milan Animal Health Program, you will be the main responsible for the success of the Fellowship Programs in your city and the main point of reference for groups of 5-8 students.
You will organize and oversee all student activities and logistics and act as a group leader, mentor, and main responsible for their safety and well-being during the program.
Your day-to-day activities include
- Planning the observation rotations with the doctors and mentors at the vet clinic, sanctuaries and animal rescues
- Organizing and executing group activities for the week
- Coordinating and leading groups of students throughout all planned activities
- Finding the best local partners for tours, activites and meals
- Negotiating with providers to bring the most value within the budget
- Communicating with students pre-departure and during their time with us
- Checking in daily on students' safety and well-being, providing information, guidance, and support
- Solving all sorts of problems, from trivial issues to major crisis situations: you're the leader and the person everyone turns to
- Being available to students 24/7 in case of need during their stay
