Job Description
Preparation or review of boiler structural model and calculation of boiler loads, rigidity and center of gravity:

• Preparation of specialistic calculations for the load-bearing structures (hangers, guides, backstays, etc.) of the boiler, considering both static and dynamic loads.
• Preparation of static calculations for detailed designs and technical documents of boiler construction.
• Preparation of calculation for anchor loads adjustment (office) and anchor loads adjustment (site).
• Inspection of the boiler during assembly and operation
• Prepares conceptual and basic engineering documentation including RFQ/PO documentation in early stages of the projects
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering with a focus on structural mechanics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Solid knowledge of steel structure and sheet metal construction - in preparing and verifying static or dynamic structural calculation.
• 5+ years’ experience in similar position in large EPC projects.
• Knowledge of structural calculation methods (FEM, beam-, plate- and shell-analysis), of standard (Eurocode, other) and structural analysis and design softwares (Rstab, RFEM, SAP200)
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
