ABOUT THE ROLE - STRUCTURAL & ARCHITECTURAL SUPERVISOR


Report to Deck Construction Superintendent, the Structural & Architectural Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all structural and architectural construction activities at site. This includes supervision of steel structures, platforms, decks, cladding, walls, ceilings, insulation, and building interiors for living quarters, control rooms, substations, and other project facilities. The role ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards, tasked .

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:


  • Structural Scope Supervision:

• Supervise fabrication and erection of structural steel components such as main decks, trusses, pipe racks, platforms, ladders, stairs, and supports.


• Ensure alignment, welding, and bolting are done as per drawings and standards (AISC, AWS D1.1, API RP2A, etc.).


• Monitor installation of load - bearing structures and support systems.


• Coordinate lifting, fit - up, and assembly of large modules or skids.


  • Architectural Scope Supervision:

• Oversee installation of architectural finishes such as internal partitions, flooring, wall panels,

suspended ceilings, doors, windows, and furnishings in buildings and living quarters.


• Monitor external cladding, insulation (thermal, fireproofing, acoustic), and waterproofing systems.


• Supervise HVAC architectural penetrations and MEP interface works.


  • Quality, HSE & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and client requirements.


• Enforce safety procedures, PPE use, and permit - to - work systems at all times.


• Participate in quality inspections, dimensional checks, and material verifications.


• Support punch listing, NCR resolution, and final walkdowns.


  • Coordination & Reporting:

• Interface with other discipline Supervisors (piping, electrical, HVAC, painting) to resolve site

clashes and ensure smooth progress.


• Attend daily coordination meetings and contribute to planning and look - ahead schedules.


• Report daily activities, manpower, and progress to Construction Manager or Project Engineer.



SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:


• Strong technical knowledge of structural and architectural materials, methods, and standards.


• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, architectural layouts, and detail drawings.


• Hands - on experience with offshore modules, building interiors, and steel erection.


• Proficiency in using tools like AutoCAD, Navisworks, or 3D model viewers.


• Leadership and coordination skills in multicultural and multi - discipline environments.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Structural Engineering.

• Work experience or eight (8) years in the field of the sought discipline

• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
