Strategic Projects Manager
Role Purpose
Primary responsibility of the role is to provide ongoing strategic support to the Country Head Italy, and the leadership team, as well as to independently lead projects across a variety of areas especially acting as liaison between business operations and the full Italian organization. This position is instrumental in facilitating decision-making processes, streamlining communication channels, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the Country Head's office and Country’s strategic projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provides ongoing strategic support to Country Head and the Sandoz Italy Leadership Team (SLT)
- Leads the strategic agenda formation for key meetings and manages follow-ups
- Lead and manage coordination for executive presentations to SLT, BoD, external events and other bodies
- May act as a substitute of the Country Head in key external and internal stakeholder events/meetings
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, coordinating activities across departments to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic goals
- Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely execution and successful outcomes
- Act on Country Head’s office tasks as requested, and all other ad hoc strategic projects as needed
- Understand business needs and support the effectiveness of Field Force organization
- Manage relationships with suppliers and third parties in support of any business critical interactions for the country

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Education :
BA/BS Required, MBA or respective education preferred
Experience and Skills:
- Overall 7+ years in experience with minimum 3+ years spent in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
- Background in consulting, strategic consulting
- Proven capability to effectively communicate and collaborate across a global, matrixed organization
- Able to get senior stakeholders buy-in through impact, public speaking and effective presentations
- Proficiency in English and Italian languages
- Strong and proven project management skills, certified in Six Sigma or Lean Strategies desired
- Strong analytical capability and agility with streamlining data for decision making
- Critical and strategic thinker with solutions-oriented mindset
- Careful about quality, compliance, and legal obligations
- Exceedingly agile and able to continually re-prioritize in fast paced environment
