Strategic Marketing Procurement Lead Italy | Rome (Hybrid)
A globally recognised consumer goods organisation is strengthening its Italian procurement team with the addition of a Strategic Marketing Procurement Lead Italy . This is a high-visibility position supporting one of the company's most important European markets, partnering directly with commercial and marketing leaders on critical spend and supplier strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary procurement partner to marketing, commercial, and business leadership
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with brand and growth priorities
- Manage strategic agency and service provider relationships, including leading negotiations within Marketing and Commercial, as well as other indirect categories
- Deliver value across cost, quality, innovation, and risk management
- Ensure robust contracts, governance, and alignment with global standards
- Support the rollout of regional and global procurement initiatives locally
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working
Ideal background:
- Procurement or commercial experience within large, multinational environments
- Strong exposure to marketing, commercial services, or indirect categories
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, international setting
- Fluent in Italian and English
