As a Group Issuing Strategic Marketing Expert, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based at the international level. This is what you can expect from us:

Your scope of work will be on the Issuing Business Unit, with a focus on shaping new strategic initiatives through market and competitive intelligence, and deep payments understanding. Your key responsibilities will be:
Market Intelligence And Opportunity Mapping
- Conduct comprehensive market research to map payment trends, emerging use cases, and evolving customer behaviors
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and partner ecosystem scans to identify what’s new in the market offering and differentiators
- Identify opportunities emerging from market intelligence and inform strategic initiatives
Strategic Initiatives
- Play a key role in defining and prioritizing mid-term strategic programs aligning with commercial goals and customer needs
- Craft compelling strategic narratives and business cases in collaboration with key team and cross-department stakeholders
Field Marketing
- Plan and orchestrate integrated MarCom campaigns to increase awareness, drive consideration, and position Nexi offering to target audiences
- Build buy-in and engagement of regional and countries issuing stakeholders to drive execution of our initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement & Ecosystem
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and consistent messaging
- Build and maintain relationships with key Scheme’s stakeholders to gather common intelligence, pursue joint opportunities, validate concepts, and build partnership at the EU level
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to translate market insights into actionable initiatives
- Business acumen: Strong proficiency with market research and analytics, data-driven thinking
- Accountability and result-oriented approach with a “Customer first” mindset and a strong problem-solving attitude
- Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Stakeholder management: Senior-level stakeholders’ management. Experience working with external partners and cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Education: Master’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
- Experience: 5–8 years in B2B marketing, ideally in fintech, banking, payments, or management consulting
- Languages: English proficient, German as a plus
