Storage Administrator

Responsibilities

• Zoning and troubleshooting SAN connectivity performance issues
• LUN mapping and masking
• Performance capture from storage side
• Replication using Snap Mirror/Snap Vault
• Storage monitoring
• Good knowledge of syslog configuration and monitoring
• LUN management
• Depth experience in NetApp NAS NFS CIFS
• Good knowledge of FC iSCSI protocol
• Provide support and resolution for level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting
• Perform zoning (e.g., creation of alias zones and its management), firmware upgrade, and troubleshooting on Brocade and Cisco SAN switches
• Aggregate volume setup and provisioning tasks such as thin provisioning, compression, deduplication, snapshot retention, and snap clone
• Depth experience in NetApp NAS/SAN ESERIES
• ONTAP monitoring using OnCommand Unified Manager / System Manager, log file analysis, etc.
• Performance‑related troubleshooting
• Root cause analysis of critical issue tickets
• Storage Fabric OS firmware upgrade
• Troubleshoot software configuration issues (shelf, disk, cf, ic, etc.)
• Worked with ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Prepared technical documents on relevant topics
