Position Description


The selected candidate will join the Compliance/Legal team, focusing on risk‑assessment activities related to third parties (suppliers, agents, business partners, intermediaries). The intern will support reputational and compliance analysis (anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, AML) to ensure that external relationships are compliant with company policies and applicable regulations.


Activities and Responsibilities


Under the supervision of a tutor, the intern will be responsible for:

Third‑Party Onboarding: Supporting the data collection and documentation process through KYC (Know Your Customer) and Third‑Party Risk Management questionnaires.

Investigative Analysis (OSINT): Conducting research through open‑source intelligence to identify beneficial owners, conflicts of interest, litigation, or adverse media involving third parties.

AML/Sanctions Screening: Using compliance tools to verify whether third parties appear on sanctions lists, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) lists, or blacklists.

Reporting: Contributing to the drafting of final due‑diligence reports, highlighting risk levels (low, medium, high) and suggesting mitigation actions.

Database Updating: Keeping the vendor‑management system updated with the information collected.


Required Qualifications


Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, International Relations, Economics, Political Science, or related fields.

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Corporate Compliance, Anti‑Corruption (e.g., Legislative Decree 231/01), or Risk Management.

IT Tools: Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with advanced web navigation (research of sources).

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English for international analyses.

Soft Skills: Analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, research mindset, and strong communication skills.
