In this Staff Engineer Controller Validation role, you validate embedded controller behavior and drive HiL testing within the R&D team. You will help build robust validation benches and automate quality metrics, contributing to Infineon’s mission of decarbonization and digitalization. You’ll work across hardware and software to ensure firmware and controllers meet stringent requirements, shaping reliable, safe, and efficient power and IoT solutions. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position at the intersection of hardware validation and software automation.
Support the development of validation test benches
Execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing including firmware validation
Analyze and verify embedded controller behavior against test requirements
Document defects and compliance metrics in an automated way to maintain quality standards
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of experience with embedded systems, specifically ARM Cortex-M MCUs
Foundations in embedded C/C++, MATLAB or Python
Hardware debugging skills using oscilloscopes and multimeters
Experience in automated test scripting with Python
