STAFF DRIVER

We are seeking a reliable and professional Staff Driver to join the team at Tenuta Toscana, a prestigious residential and hospitality destination in the heart of Tuscany. The Staff Driver will be responsible for safely transporting employees, members, and guests throughout the estate, ensuring timely and comfortable travel experiences. The role requires punctuality, a friendly and professional demeanor, effective logistics management to meet community needs, and a strong commitment to adhering to road regulations and safety standards.

A valid Italian driving license, category KB, is mandatory for this position.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, and personalized transportation service primarily to staff, and when required also to members and guests
• Accommodate passenger needs, ensuring comfort and a pleasant journey
• Maintain a respectful and discreet attitude in all interactions with staff, members, and guests
• Offer assistance with boarding and disembarking, handling luggage or belongings when needed
• Organize and execute daily transportation schedules, prioritizing safe and timely pick-ups and drop-offs for employees across the estate and nearby locations
• Collaborate closely with the operations and human resources teams to coordinate staff transport needs and any schedule changes
• Perform thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical soundness
• Keep detailed logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment or supplies when necessary to support estate operations or events
• Respond promptly and flexibly to urgent or last-minute requests related to staff transportation
• Manage vehicle keys and related equipment securely, following estate protocols
• Represent Tenuta Toscana with professionalism, maintaining discretion and integrity at all times
• Always respect and strictly adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety for all passengers and other road users
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols concerning members, staff, and estate operations
• Maintain a calm and composed demeanor even under pressure or challenging situations
• Comply consistently with all estate policies, safety guidelines, and ethical standards

Requirements

• Valid Italian driving license category KB (mandatory for passengers’ transport)
• Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in hospitality or estate environments
• Strong educational background, providing a solid foundation for the role
• Fluency in Italian with good conversational English to communicate effectively with international staff and members
• Good knowledge of local roads in surrounding areas and in Tuscany
• Punctuality and reliability, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining a friendly and professional attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

This position is based in Tuscany. Availability of staff accommodation upon request. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
