Sr Software Installation Specialist

Role Responsibilities

• Facilitate training and mentoring of SW Rigging personnel and Installation Representatives to enable tracking the training of assigned new hires and auditing performance of installers and SW riggers.
• Engages in assigned special projects as well as assists with New Product Introduction and engages in new release first installations.
• First line support in problem-resolution, Assistant Request procedures, and provides technical assistance remotely and onsite to Software Installers when necessary in a timely manner.
• Considerable experience, ability, and knowledge of complicated upgrades, particularly in the tasks described within VMS Service Technical Bulletins. Varian Software Installation or Service experience is essential.

Skills & Experience Required

• Expert knowledge of and sound professional experience with MS SQL databases, Windows Server and Client architecture. Citrix / Parallels and Virtual server hosting. Cloud Architecture knowledge on hosting applications is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge on Varian Software Suite ARIA and ECLIPSE. ETHOS Knowledge is preferable.
• Experience of troubleshooting, diagnosis and assisting repair of Varian software and Standard IT systems.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience.
