Key Job Responsibilities
- Define the vision, product roadmap, and features for building conversational experiences leveraging spoken language technologies and machine learning.
- Enable other teams in Alexa, other teams across Amazon, and external partners to create highly‑engaging Alexa experiences and features that customers love using in their daily lives.
- Write business requirements documents and develop a long‑term roadmap for tools, documentation, and developer support.
- Collaborate with and guide a cross‑functional team of engineers and designers to achieve the vision.
- Define market‑leading products that enable developers to bring their ideas to life.
Qualifications
- Passion for developers and experience in designing platform strategies.
- Background in software development and product management, specific to software platforms and ecosystems.
- Highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively across multiple organizations, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high‑quality, simple‑to‑use products and applications that developers and customers love.
Next‑gen AI Exposure
- Be part of Amazon’s strategic push into next‑generation AI assistants.
- Work directly with state‑of‑the‑art LLMs and generative‑AI technologies.
- Gain expertise in an emerging, high‑demand field that few engineers have deep experience in.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
