Position Description

The Sr. Principal EHS, Environmental Management is an experienced and recognized technical expert for the Company in the prevention of environmental contamination and the preservation of natural resources to create and sustain a healthy planet. This individual demonstrates a depth of knowledge and experience capable of recognizing and controlling releases to air, water, and soil. They also recognize and control environmental hazards.

This role requires working with staff across all parts of our business and in all cultures to implement effective solutions. The individual must drive a standardized and harmonized approach across the Company to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in diverse cultures and countries. They will interface with various stakeholders, including maintenance and engineering technicians, local EHS staff, and organizational leaders.

The Sr. Principal will develop solutions to environmental and remediation challenges and present recommendations to leadership teams at various levels, including site, regional, and global EHS leadership, as well as engineering and facilities teams. They will also work with local and national regulatory agencies, professional associations, external service providers, and vendors.

Responsibilities include ensuring pollution control devices are using the best available technology, developing long-term financial plans for pollution prevention, collaborating with data teams to identify data for predictive models, and leading initiatives to develop and implement worldwide environmental strategies. The role involves leading EHS innovations, focusing on associate-facing technology, and improving the user experience and performance of EHS programs.

The candidate will identify innovative solutions to drive automation, reliability, satisfaction, and overall risk reduction. They will manage the effectiveness of technology programs, gather user feedback, and evaluate solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
