Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) "Project Midas" is a specialized consulting organization we are launching in the US that is dedicated to solving the most pressing challenges facing senior leadership of our largest vendors. We start from the customer’s problem and work backwards to apply distinctive solutions and results that "only Amazon" can deliver, and we develop science-driven capabilities that create differentiating insights. We serve our clients through the development of customer and retail strategies that enable their long-term growth via a combination of management consulting methodologies, data science, and decades of eCommerce expertise.

You will also work with vendors, team members, and internal and external partners to influence the way we work, how we serve customers, and where we invest in future capabilities.

  • Insight Commercialization – Translate complex data and machine learning outputs into clear, actionable business recommendations that vendors can execute.
  • Engagement Scoping & Problem Framing – Lead discovery conversations with senior vendor stakeholders to define problem statements, scope project deliverables, and align on success metrics before engagement kickoff.
  • Cross-functional Orchestration – Coordinate across internal Amazon teams to assemble the right resources and capabilities for each vendor engagement, ensuring holistic solution delivery.
  • Strategic Leadership – Lead complex integrated workstreams, plan and deliver executive and board-level presentations, and drive overall engagement success.
  • Client Partnership – Own client relationships and project outcomes, serving as the primary point of contact while ensuring exceptional delivery standards.
  • Innovation & Development – Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists to enhance tools and frameworks based on engagement insights, continuously improving our vendor experience.
