As a Senior Manager in Compliance, you will design and implement a robust compliance framework that ensures adherence to Italian and EU regulations, playing a critical role in our commitment to simplifying the global money movement.

How you will create impact

  1. Compliance Framework Development
  2. Design and implement TerraPay Italy’s compliance framework to align with regulatory requirements.
  3. Develop and execute a compliance monitoring and testing plan to ensure ongoing adherence.
  4. Regulatory Oversight and Reporting
  5. Oversee compliance with Italian and EU regulations, focusing on transparency and safeguarding.
  6. Report to the board and senior management on compliance performance and regulatory risks.
  7. Policy and Procedure Management
  8. Create and implement policies and procedures that meet regulatory standards.
  9. Review and approve new products to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  10. Risk Management and Advisory
  11. Maintain a regulatory risk register and breach register in collaboration with the Risk function.
  12. Provide ad-hoc compliance advice to the business regarding new products and markets.
  13. Qualifications
  14. 10 to 15 years of experience in compliance, preferably in financial services or payments.
  15. Relevant degree in law, finance, or a related field; knowledge of compliance tools and software is a plus.
  16. Nice to have
  17. Additional certifications in compliance, such as CAMS or CCEP.
  18. Experience in project management or risk assessment methodologies.

  • 1. Table for Two: A brief chat with a Recruiter to assess foundational competencies and overview of TerraPay.
  • 2. Beyond the Bio: Discussion with an SME or RM to evaluate role-specific knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and company/team understanding.
  • 3. Manager Meetup: Comprehensive discussion about role, responsibilities, expectations, and career growth.
  • 4. Leadership Session: For AVP positions and above, to evaluate strategic thinking and decision-making.
  • 5. Hot Seat: Cultural fit round covering company values and long-term plans.
