Amazon's Asia Global Selling Existing Seller Management (ESM) team currently seeks a results-oriented Product Manager who can learn quickly and build trust with various stakeholders in a dynamically changing environment. In this role, s/he will be a key member of the Asia Global Selling ESM Team, helping ESM translate business needs & requirements into product solutions, building BRDs and driving the development of product/tool solutions, identifying more growth opportunities and putting them into scalable product design, as well as optimizing existing work processes and developing tools & mechanisms to improve Account Management efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated Product Management skills and specifically the ability to shape work for themselves and supporting other team members. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with numerous stakeholders within the organization. S/he also has a track record of program management, leading business initiatives, building SOP/tools, and turning data into insights.
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with the Account Management team to identify business needs/issues and develop feasible product solutions, articulate BRD and drive through the product development.
- Interact with multiple stakeholder / business teams to translate ambiguous requirements to execution, build trust with stakeholders and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Structure workflows across the team to effectively prioritize operational support activities.
- Work relentlessly to improve existing processes and use data-driven decision making to make recommendations for systems, products, and business improvements.
- Develop SOPs, workflows, metrics, reports or other tools to assist Sales teams maximize productivity.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience as a product manager or owner.
- Experience owning technology products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
