Sport & Outdoor Marketing Manager


Mission


We are looking for a Sport & Outdoor Marketing Manager, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that strengthen Vibram’s positioning and relevance in the different outdoor & sport segments across EMEA Region. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of outdoor and sports consumers and communities, capable of driving brand engagement through co-marketing plans with key footwear brand partners, b2c events, sport marketing, athletes, communication, trade shows, retail.

The role will be based in Vibram HQ in Albizzate, Italy, and report into our Global Marketing Director.

Up to 25% travel required.


Job


  • Brand Positioning:

ensure Vibram’s leadership in outdoor performance is communicated effectively towards end consumers, across all channels including campaigns, events, sport marketing etc

  • Partnerships & Co-Marketing:

identify and manage collaborations with key brands partners, athletes, and events to enhance brand visibility.

  • Market & Business understanding:

understands market trends and consumer behavior to drive marketing strategy and inform product development

  • Team Management:

directly manages the Sport & Outdoor Marketing Team. Ensures close cooperation with PR, Digital, Product, and Sales teams to deliver cohesive marketing initiatives

  • Budget Management:

oversee marketing budgets for the outdoor segment, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI tracking


Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • >10 years of experience in Marketing roles
  • Mandatory experience in Outdoor and/or Sport segments
  • Strong understanding of outdoor consumer trends and retail dynamics
  • People management skills
  • Languages: fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Italian or another European language is highly desirable
  • Deep passion for outdoor sports
