CETENA, a company within the Fincantieri NexTech Group, is a center of excellence dedicated to the development of advanced engineering solutions in the maritime and naval sector. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking highly motivated professionals to strengthen our Business Unit focused on maritime safety.

The selected candidate will contribute to technical and analytical activities related to the assessment and enhancement of onboard safety systems.

Activities

• Conduct engineering analyses of technical solutions implemented on board.
• Perform compliance assessments of mechanical and electrical systems with respect to project requirements and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Participate in meetings with national and international stakeholders.
• Carry out technical activities directly onboard vessels.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering, Naval Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience with CAD tools (preferably MicroStation).
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with IMO regulations, particularly SOLAS.
• Knowledge of risk analysis methodologies.
• Proven capability in software tools and programming languages such as Python, C# or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL and database driven workflows is considered an asset.
