ICT Specialist - Cybersecurity & Network Engineer

About the Role:
We are building our security capabilities, DLP, segmentation, SIEM, EDR, and we need someone who knows this world and can grow with us. The role also involves developing small internal tools.
Required Competencies
Security
- Knowledge of DLP solutions, how they work, how to evaluate and deploy them
- Understanding of EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint hardening strategies
- Network security architecture: segmentation, VLANs, IDS/IPS, zero-trust concepts
- Vulnerability assessment methodology and tools (Nessus, OpenVAS,or similar)
- Incident response logic: triage, containment, root cause analysis
- Awareness of SIEM platforms and centralized log correlation
- Firewall rule logic and policy design (Fortinet, Huawei,Zyxel)
Development
- PHP and databases for small internalweb applications
- Integration with Active Directory, REST APIs, and databases
- Understanding of authentication flows (SSO, LDAP, OAuth)
- .NET (ASP.NET Core / Blazor) is a plus
General
- PowerShell and/orPython scripting for automation
- Windows Server
- 2-4 years in roles mixing security with infrastructure or development
- Fluent Italian+ English B2 minimum
Nice to have:
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, FortiNSE)
- VMware or Docker exposure
- Modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
