Join to apply for the Space Hardware Engineer role at Fortil .
Support our team in the aerospace, defense, and security sectors by analyzing interfaces, designing hardware systems, and assisting with integration and validation activities. The position is based in Rome, Italy.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing interfaces and designing hardware systems for field interfacing
- Supporting hardware integration and electrical/functional validation, including assembly and testing in factory and on-site
- Assisting with technical documentation
Technical skills required:
- Industrial automation based on Beckhoff technology
- Automation using National Instruments and Siemens (preferred)
- Design of custom hardware elements for signal management and low-voltage power distribution (knowledge of ZUKEN software is a plus)
- Good command of English
