We are looking for a motivated SPA Receptionist to join our pre-opening team.


The role will report to the Head Therapist & SPA Supervisor.


Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.


The hotel features a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets, and more than 1,000 sqm of event venues.


Key responsibilities:


  • Welcome SPA guests in a professional, warm, and courteous manner, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
  • Manage SPA reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and payments in accordance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide detailed information about SPA treatments, facilities, memberships, and promotions.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and personalize the experience to ensure a “home away from home” feeling.
  • Coordinate appointments and communicate guest preferences, special requests, and schedules to therapists and SPA team members.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure all guest communications and requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
  • Support the SPA leadership team with administrative tasks, reports, and operational needs as required.


Skills and requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role within lifestyle hotels, or high-end SPA environments is preferred.
  • Good understanding of SPA operations, guest service standards, and booking systems.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Wellness Management, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with SPA booking systems and PMS (Opera Cloud knowledge is an advantage).
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
