Who are we at 2B1st Consulting? 2B1st Consulting is a family company developing a solution called Project Smart Explorer which helps companies map the market of energy projects. 2B1st Consulting is composed of international experts of the Energy with the support of an in‑house digital factory. Our goal is to be the Energy Knowledge Center of our industry.

The team at 2B1st Consulting is growing and to achieve our goals, we are recruiting a South Europe Director in Italy. The role will focus on supporting the business development activities of the company within the Energy market. This includes research, new business development, relationship building, developing and landing partnerships, delivering online demos, visiting customers to promote our tool and service Project Smart Explorer. Other activities will include general operations associated with business development in the Petroleum/Energy market, participation to conferences, trade shows, or exhibitions. You will be in charge of helping us develop the business within Italy and the South of Europe (Spain, Portugal, etc). Your role? To seek out, find and sign our future customers. Our Sales team currently consists of 3 people, but you will have access to our CRM of around 1000 leads. We are a small company and as such operate with an agile method. In the next 12 months, we want to pursue our growth and take solid market shares.

Your main tasks:

  • Build a high vision strategy of your region and a roadmap for the year
  • Generate leads and business through an outbound/hunting approach: deepen existing accounts and prospect for new clients (emailing/phoning/visiting) and to maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline
  • Make demos, submit offers, follow your tenders with your clients
  • Build a lead list and use our already built list
  • Meet new prospects at events, and follow with emailing/phoning strategies
  • Networking: PR/ external communication (media, events, fairs)
  • Analyse and forecast the commercial pipeline
  • Adopt and use Hubspot CRM to follow up on leads, offers and deals
  • Work with the rest of team to update commercial partnerships and invoicing process
  • Represent the expertise and brand image of the company
  • Give inspiring feedbacks and benchmarks
  • Participate on the family mentality of our company

Preferred experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in the B2B sector linked to oil & gas, petroleum or Energy projects business
  • Business Development experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Italian
  • Ability to organize own work with little supervision and prioritize tasks
  • Used to managing sales cycles and can follow them up
  • Can adapt quickly
  • High mobility
  • Bonus points: Similar experience
  • Excellent networker, ability to deal with a wide range of people
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM
