Role information

This position will be a key member of the BU Sourcing Team. As a member of this team, you will be shaping the future of Datalogic’s success in launching new product in the Market by participating to the NPD process.

Role Mission

Supports the sourcing team in ensuring that quality, cost and timely launch of specific new products are fully met through Procurement contribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage BU sourcing activities and processes during new product development (NPD).
• Project delivery & costing. Cost estimates and related forecasts.
• Support to achieve supplier quality, cost and delivery targets and execute sourcing and procurement actions; review purchase requisitions for proper authorization.
• Analyze and select suppliers, issue purchase orders; follow up and expedite as demanded by NPD timeline.
• BU purchasing support in products lifecycle management (from cradle to tomb).
• Productivity actions related to alternative suppliers and redesign are led or co-led and properly tracked.
