The Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) is an established, world-class scientific research and experimentation facility that organizes and conducts scientific research and technology development centred on the maritime domain. It delivers innovative and field-tested science and technology (S&T) solutions to address defence and security needs of the Alliance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives from conception through implementation, including cloud migration strategies and infrastructure modernization
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with business objectives and policies, conducting thorough assessments of emerging tools, platforms, and services
- Design comprehensive security architectures and perform technical risk assessments to ensure robust, compliant infrastructure solutions
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified university in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline, and 2 years post-related experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ background in enterprise technology planning and implementation, with hands‑on experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure transformation and cloud native tools.
- Demonstrated success in technology evaluation, vendor management, and executing large‑scale migration projects.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, NAF4, etc.) and ability to balance technical requirements with business constraints.
- Professional experience working within agile frameworks while maintaining architectural governance and guiding teams through iterative delivery.
- Strong foundation in modern technology stacks, cloud platforms, security principles, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Very good level of spoken and written English.
