Solution Engineer

What's the Role About?

As a Solution Engineer at CommerceClarity, you'll be the technical bridge between our AI-native platform and enterprise customers. You'll work directly with client IT teams and business stakeholders to integrate CommerceClarity into their existing tech stack — connecting our composable platform with ERPs, PIMs, e-commerce systems, and data warehouses.

This role is perfect for someone who loves both technology and people. You'll spend your days understanding complex enterprise architectures, designing integration solutions, and building trusted relationships with technical decision-makers at major retailers and brands. If you get energy from solving technical puzzles while working closely with clients, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise IT teams to design and implement integrations with CommerceClarity
• Map customer tech stacks and identify the optimal integration architecture for each deployment
• Configure and customize data flows between CommerceClarity and client systems (ERPs, PIMs, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces)
• Lead technical discovery calls and workshops with client stakeholders
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide hands-on technical support during onboarding
• Document integration patterns and build reusable playbooks for common scenarios
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate customer needs into platform improvements
• Support pre-sales with technical demos and architecture proposals

Who You Are

Essential

• Technical background with hands-on experience in software development or system integration
• Strong understanding of APIs, data formats (JSON, XML, CSV), and integration patterns
• Fluent English — our customers and team operate in English daily
• Genuine enjoyment of client interaction and relationship building
• Excellent communication skills: able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity
• Self-starter attitude with strong ownership and follow-through
• Curiosity about e-commerce, retail tech, and enterprise software

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in solution engineering, technical consulting, or integration roles
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce, etc.)
• Experience with PIM systems (Akeneo, Salsify, inRiver, etc.) or ERP integrations
• Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software implementation
• Knowledge of data transformation tools or ETL processes
• Previous experience working with enterprise clients in retail or consumer goods
