Solution Architect Role at BIP

Join BIP as a Solution Architect to design technological solutions enabling digital innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate functional and non‑functional requirements into architectural applications and infrastructure.
  • Support the design of enterprise solutions integrating legacy systems, cloud platforms, and modern API, event‑driven, microservices architectures.
  • Contribute to the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI models and data‑driven solutions, to enable new operational models and improve efficiency.
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams on application modernization, data architecture, and hybrid cloud ecosystem design.
  • Participate in developing reference architecture, technology blueprints, and guidelines for solution development and deployment.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of IT experience, preferably in consulting, system integration or structured corporate environments, with involvement in application architecture projects.
  • Knowledge of heterogeneous application architectures and integration paradigms (API, microservices, event‑driven, EAI/ESB/SOA).
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerised deployment models (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher).
  • Understanding of deployment infrastructure, networking, and virtual machine management.
  • Experience with Java/Spring, .NET, Python, or JavaScript (React/Angular) application development or evaluation.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and application lifecycle automation principles (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD).
  • Interest in data solution design, evaluating relational or NoSQL databases, data architecture principles, and modern data ecosystem tools (Snowflake, Fabric, Databricks, Kafka).
  • Comprehension of scalable, secure, maintainable enterprise solution design logic.
  • Experience with architectural design models (C4, diagram‑as‑code, Archimate) and diagramming tools (Structurizr, Draw.io, Lucidchart, Enterprise Architect).
  • Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and curiosity for emerging technologies (Generative AI, LLM, ML).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organisational skills, adaptability, and structured work in dynamic contexts.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to Have

  • Certification in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF Foundation).
  • Foundational or associate level cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Certifications in AI and Data (AI/ML Fundamentals, SnowPro, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).
  • DevOps certifications (DevOps Foundation).
