We are seeking a highly skilled Solicitor / Lawyer specializing in consumer flight claims (typically via small claims procedure) to lead in-court collections or open their own boutique Legal Firm in Italy. You will be responsible for filing court cases to recover compensation or reimbursements for passengers, handling claims such as EU261 / UK261 for delays, cancellations, denied boarding, and soon baggage claims.

The role involves legal research, managing court enforcement, negotiating settlements, and staying updated on relevant laws and legal precedents. The candidate must be free from conflicts of interest, able to litigate against different airlines, and possess a proven track record in successful in-court collections.

Requirements

• A valid solicitor’s license and legal insurance.
• A law degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience with small claims, consumer rights, or aviation law is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of consumer protection laws and aviation regulations is a plus but not required.
• Proven success in in-court collection.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize, meet deadlines, and track statutes of limitations.
• Experience in automating claims management processes.
