We are looking for a Software Testing Intern

As an intern in our Research and Development team, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting the development and maintenance of high-quality products in a regulated environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and be mentored by experienced professionals to build your knowledge and skills in R&D and product lifecycle management.


Core Responsibilities

Mentored by an experienced tutor you will:

  • Support the testing of complex teleoperated microsurgical medical device in terms of performance and functionality during the development and in verification phase
  • Document test procedures and process validation for medical device testing.
  • Support the testing of software supporting the use and servicing of medical devices.
  • Assist in the integration and testing of new computer vision algorithms.
  • Support the drafting and updating of technical documentation in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Assist in the execution of integration and validation tests.
  • Support the technical characterization and performance evaluation of surgical microscopes.


Education and Experience

  • Degree-level qualification in a science or engineering discipline, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Matlab).
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English (CEFR Level B2 or higher).
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
