We are currently seeking a Software Manager to join a high-impact, long-term project in critical systems to relocate to Madrid, Spain
What are we looking for?
- >8 years of experience in software development (ideally in critical or embedded systems )
- Availability to relocate to Madrid.
- Proven experience leading software development teams
- Strong background in software architecture and system design
- Experience with standards such as DO-178B/C, PECAL 2210 or similar
- Solid understanding of the full software lifecycle (V-Model)
- Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or related field
Nice to have: C/C++, RTOS, cybersecurity concepts, DOORS/Visure, technical reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR)
Your mission
As a Software Manager , you will act as the technical reference for software, leading the definition and evolution of system architecture while ensuring quality, traceability and compliance.
- Lead the software development team
- Define and evolve system software architecture
- Drive key technical decisions (frameworks, RTOS, communications, etc.)
- Ensure software quality across design, coding, testing and documentation
- Coordinate with HW, Systems and V&V teams
- Manage the full software lifecycle
- Participate in technical reviews and audits
- Act as technical interface with clients
