TrueSense develops advanced Ultra-Wideband (UWB) ranging and radar solutions for IoT, Smart Home, Industrial and Automotive applications.
Our technology combines embedded firmware, real-time positioning algorithms, radar sensing and AI-driven software libraries .
We are expanding our R&D team in Milan and looking for a passionate Software & Firmware Engineer eager to work on cutting-edge wireless systems and real-world products.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems
- Work with ARM Cortex-M platforms and embedded Linux SoCs
- Design and optimize low-level drivers and hardware abstraction layers
- Implement communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, BLE )
- Contribute to UWB ranging, RTLS and radar sensing systems
- Support system integration, debugging, validation and field testing
- Collaborate closely with hardware, RF and AI/software teams
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers
- Familiarity with RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, Zephyr or similar)
- Experience working with ARM Cortex-M architectures and/or embedded Linux platforms
- Strong debugging and problem-solving mindset
- Hands-on hardware experience (PCB bring-up, lab measurements, schematic reading) is highly appreciated
