Software Engineer

As an integral part of our purpose-driven food retail business, we're looking for energetic, proactive individuals with at least 3 years of backend development experience. This is an opportunity to contribute to our dynamic team of 4 and grow with us, while leveraging your skills to make a difference.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications to support the digitalization of our company
• Utilize cloud functionalities to scale and optimize our infrastructure
• Automate routine tasks and processes, and develop custom solutions for our ERP
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues by analyzing data, processes, and codes, identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborate with team members to establish objectives, design functional, cohesive code and improve the overall user experience

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Proficient knowledge of one or more object oriented languages (C#, Java, PHP, Python)
• Proficient knowledge of SQL
• Solid understanding of REST API
• AI is a working tool you're familiar with
• Good understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS
• You work with git and understand application deployment processes

Nice to have:

• Experience with Cloud platform services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Engineering background (but it's not a requirement)
• Strong analytical mindset
• Basic networking fundamentals, including TCP / IP, DNS, and HTTP / S
