Overview
Join Our Team as a Software Engineer – Shape the Future of Traffic Simulation. You will help enhance VI-WorldSim, a cutting-edge traffic management simulation platform, by delivering innovative solutions that drive realistic agent behavior and improve mobility systems worldwide. The right candidate will be located near Udine or Torino and able to work from home 50% and come into the office 50% of the time. Citizenship in Italy is required for this opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the evolution of the agent simulation module within VI-WorldSim.
- Optimize and maintain existing code for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with an engineering team to introduce new features.
- Develop and maintain interfaces aligned with ASAM standards (OpenScenario, OpenDrive).
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of agent simulation techniques.
- Familiarity with ASAM standards (OpenScenario / OpenDrive).
- Solid foundation in vehicle dynamics and control system design.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Bonus: Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Unreal Engine (Chaos framework).
- Bonus: Familiarity with SUMO or similar simulation frameworks.
