Overview

As a Software Engineer at Docebo, you won't just write code; you will architect a world‑class SaaS platform that empowers millions to learn and grow. You’ll join a cross‑functional team where your mission is to design and deploy solutions that push the boundaries of EdTech. With “Near Zero Handovers,” you will see your ideas move from whiteboard concept to global production, tackling complex technical challenges and leaving a lasting mark on a product that is shaping the future of work.

The Day‑to‑Day

  • Design, implement, and deploy scalable software solutions that enhance core functionality of our global SaaS platform.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to turn visionary concepts into high‑performing features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code while participating in peer reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Proactively refactor code to reduce technical debt and improve system performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolving issues quickly to ensure smooth user experience.
  • Fully immerse in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives to keep momentum and goals aligned.

Your Superpowers

  • 4+ years of experience in Backend or Full Stack development.
  • Proficiency in Node.js; experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or Golang is also valued.
  • Strong Agile experience in Scrum environments, with clear understanding of CI/CD processes and rapid delivery.
  • Passion for automation and experience with testing frameworks.
  • “Can‑do” mindset with diagnostic skills needed to solve complex issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and accountability for team collaboration.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or IaC tools such as Terraform.
  • Advanced knowledge of Git and modern development workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
