As a Software Engineer III, Backend in the Consumer Wealth Domain, you design, build, and operate backend services for savings and investments at scale. You own the feature lifecycle from design to production, focusing on reliable wealth products like automated savings and investment portfolios. You will work with a modern AWS-based stack to ensure seamless integration across microservices and leverage AI tools to boost engineering efficiency. You’ll translate financial requirements into scalable, precise technical solutions while collaborating with product and UX teams to improve the financial engines that power millions of users.

Design, implement, test, and operate backend services for savings and investments
Develop core wealth functionalities such as Invested Money Box, automated saving goals, and portfolios
Own AWS-based infrastructure and contribute to architectural improvements for microservices
Leverage AI tools to enhance code quality, root cause analysis, and documentation
Address complex financial requirements with scalable, high-precision solutions
Collaborate with Product and UX teams; participate in code reviews, post-mortems, and refactoring to promote best practices
Debug production issues, investigate incidents, and share learnings to improve system reliability
3+ years of backend engineering experience in fast-paced environments
Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
Experience with cloud environments (AWS a plus) and relational databases
Focus on performance, data integrity, and transactional consistency in wealth-related systems
Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences
Passion for FinTech, wealth management, or startup environments; fluent in English
