Software Engineer for Aircraft Simulators

TXT E-TECH , a TXT Group company, is looking for an Aircraft Simulation Software Engineer for the Aerospace & Defense division. The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of software used as a Framework in an aircraft simulation environment at our major Client's office on the Turin (TO) site.
Responsibilities
- Perform frontend and backend design and development, starting from high-level requirements, of new features required for software on Windows and Linux architectures;
- Release code in simulation environment;
- Integrate additional functionality with other software components;
- Test functionality and resolve issues;
- Support users of the Framework and developers of models integrated with it;
- Release documentation on design aspects.
Technical Requirements
- Knowledge of C++ language and object-oriented programming;
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems;
- Knowledge of hardware and software integration of heterogeneous components;
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting and Makefiles;
- Knowledge of Git configuration control software;
- Knowledge of bash, UML, Qt.
Good knowledge of English, good team working skills, autonomy in organizing work, proactivity and problem solving skills.
Education
Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electronic Engineering/ Mechatronic Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering
