Software Development Leader

Responsibilities:

  • Defining and implementing software functional requirements and architectural design within the .NET technology stack, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Organizing and leading development and DevOps activities, ensuring Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments are met throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Designing and contributing to the Continuous Integration (C.I.) pipeline to ensure automated builds, testing, and artifact creation for .NET applications.
  • Defining and owning the Continuous Deployment (C.D.) strategy using ArgoCD (GitOps) for automated and declarative delivery to the target environment.
  • Containerizing .NET applications using Docker and defining the necessary configurations for deployment on Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.
  • Defining and applying Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles using tools like Ansible for environment configuration management and automation.
  • Specifying, designing, and maintaining Helm charts for the effective packaging, versioning, and lifecycle management of applications within Kubernetes.
  • Ensuring the traceability of software requirements through the development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Contributing to software and environment integration activities, coordinating with architecture and operations teams.
  • Applying and ensuring the application of DevOps processes, security standards, and coding best practices.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives (Return of Experience - RoE) related to C.I./C.D. processes and deployment reliability.
  • Contributing to the definition of the Software Configuration Management Plan related to deployment manifests and infrastructure code.
  • Maintaining and controlling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for C.I./C.D. pipeline efficiency and deployment success, reporting progress to the relevant Domain Leader.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in the field of electronic / software engineering or computer science required
  • Hands-on development experience of software phases like requirement gathering, software development, software validation etc (minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial domain)
  • High experience in software design and implementation for complex diagnostics data management systems
  • Experience in CI/CD management and development
  • Managing work packages for sub-contractors
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Ability to work efficiently in team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
