Software Developer

The position will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions supporting advanced technological systems. The role will cover the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and system architecture definition to implementation, testing, and long-term maintenance, ensuring high standards of code quality, reliability, and documentation. The Software Developer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing analytical and mathematical expertise to the development of complex computational models and numerical algorithms, while continuously expanding technical knowledge in complementary scientific domains to effectively address challenging engineering problems.

Skills and experience required

• Full Software Development Lifecycle: Established experience across all phases, from requirement analysis and architectural design to implementation, testing (QA), and maintenance, with particular attention to drafting clear and accurate technical documentation.
• Software Development: Solid command of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms, application of key Design Patterns and SOLID principles to create scalable, maintainable, and robust architectures.
• Languages and Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of C, C++, and C# languages. Experience in application development using Microsoft .NET and .NET Core frameworks, with the Visual Studio development environment.
• Analytical and Mathematical Skills: Strong aptitude for mathematics and logical-analytical thinking, with a specific applied interest in the fields of numerical computation and computational modeling.
• Multidisciplinary Learning: Ability to rapidly acquire and integrate knowledge in complementary technical-scientific domains, such as physics, optics, and ray tracing techniques, for solving complex problems.
• Work Approach: Problem-solving orientation, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Results-oriented work organization focused on achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
• Soft Skills and Languages: Excellent teamwork ability, with a proven aptitude for effective collaboration, constructive communication, and integration into work groups. Fluent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

The contract and salary terms will be determined based on the skills, competences and experience of the candidate.
