About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our User Console Exchange Team and contribute to the development of a new cloud‑native platform that powers a key part of our operations.

This system enables the selection of premium inventory from over 2,000+ direct publishers and provides a unified interface used by internal teams and global clients for campaign execution, user management, reporting, billing, and payments.

In this role, you will focus on back‑end development , working with Spring Boot, REST APIs, distributed systems, relational databases, and AWS‑based services . You will collaborate with front‑end colleagues, product, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑quality backend functionalities.

About the Team

The User Console Exchange Team builds and maintains the user-facing platform that handles access logic, configurations, permissions, and operational interactions across the business.

We work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment where ownership, clarity, and quality are core principles. You will be part of a team that values good engineering practices, continuous learning, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

Backend Development

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Spring Boot .
• Implement scalable, performant, and secure backend components for a cloud‑native system.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL) to design efficient schemas, queries, and integrations.

System Architecture & Quality

• Contribute to the design of modular and maintainable backend components.
• Apply clean architecture principles and participate in technical discussions and design reviews.
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code (unit, integration, API tests).

Cross‑Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Data, Infrastructure teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning and continuous improvement.
• Help ensure smooth delivery through code reviews, documentation, and communication of blockers or risks.

Cloud & DevOps Exposure

• Work with AWS‑based services, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑native tooling (guided by senior engineers).
• Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization efforts.

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of backend software development experience , ideally building scalable web applications.
• Strong skills in Spring Boot , REST API development, and Java‑based backend systems.
• Solid experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, clean architecture, and modular design.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS is a plus).
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive, reliable, and collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Angular or frontend development (not required).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
• Interest in AdTech / Programmatic Advertising.
• Exposure to microservices or modularization projects.
